Hi! I'm Tracy, an educator, photographer, and doctoral scholar. I am a full-time Professor and Program Coordinator in the Photography: Content Creation Program at Algonquin College. I began my educational career at Durham College in 2011, teaching and creating curriculum in five programs.
Before becoming an educator, I worked as a commercial photographer with various clients, specializing in product, room set, and off-figure fashion photography. I was an on-staff photographer at St.Joseph Content - PiMedia (now SJC) for eleven years, leaving the position to pursue freelance opportunities while teaching at Durham College.
I hold a Master of Education from Ontario Tech University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Image Arts (formerly Photographic Arts - Media Arts) from Toronto Metropolitan University. I have also earned an Ontario College Diploma in Creative Photography from Humber College. A firm believer in lifelong learning, I am pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Research specializing in Learning Sciences at the University of Calgary.
This website shares work from my doctoral studies while also serving a portfolio of the multimedia projects I've completed as an M. Ed student and professional projects I've accomplished as an educator.
